Posted Dec 21, 2011
Two-time All-Met defensive lineman Ken Ekanem learned last week that he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his right knee during Centreville’s loss to Oscar Smith in the Virginia AAA Division 6 championship. Ekanem had been scheduled to take a visit to Notre Dame last weekend but pushed the visit back to the end of January. He is also scheduled to visit Virginia Tech on Jan. 20. Visits to his two other top choices, Oregon and North Carolina, have not been set up yet.
