National High School Hoops Festival standouts: Kennedy Meeks
Posted Dec 11, 2011
West Charlotte center Kennedy Meeks continues to garner attention from schools around the country. His most recent suitor is local, however. Meeks, a 6-foot-8, 265-pound center, said North Carolina has been in contact with him over the last month. "It's very strong right now," Meeks said. "They're calling every other week to check in on me." Though the interest is there, Meeks said the Tar Heels have not offered yet. Meeks reports offers from every ACC school except North Carolina and Duke. Georgetown, Syracuse and South Carolina have also offered the big man.
