Why Not T.J. Yates?
Posted Dec 5, 2011
A nice feature from Fox NFL Sunday on former UNC QB T.J. Yates as he prepared to make his first start for the Houston Texans. Yates was thrust into the starting role when Matt Schaub injured his foot and backup Matt Leinert broke his collarbone last week. Yates filled in for Leinert to close out a win over Jacksonville. This past Sunday vs the Falcons, Yates started and performed well going 12-25 for 188 yards, 1 TD and 0 INTs as Houston won their sixth straight.
