Who is Bubba Cunningham? Well, he’s not exactly the “hayseed” from Tulsa he jokingly referred to himself as upon being formally introduced Friday as the seventh athletic director in North Carolina history. Rather, he’s a bright, well-spoken, experienced administrator who is considered by many who know him as an up-and-coming star in the world of intercollegiate athletics.
