Lady Heels get high-octane tuneup against Purdue

Thursday night brought good news to North Carolina women's basketball fans hoping to watch their team play in Tampa, Fla., in early April. UNC, which has gone to the Final Four all three seasons in which it has beaten Purdue, routed the Boilermakers at Carmichael Auditorium. The No. 4 Tar Heels broke open the game with a 13-2 run early in the first half, then cruised to a 90-72 victory in the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Challenge. (Durham Herald-Sun)
