Kelsey Morrissy Earns Olympic Cut

The North Carolina swimming teams finished up their fine weekend of swimming at the U.S. Swimming Nationals in Atlanta, highlighted by an Olympic Trials cut obtained by senior Kelsey Morrissy. At Sunday's timed final U.S. Long Course Invitational, the senior from Horsham, Pa., clocked a blistering 57.12 to place seventh in the 100-meter freestyle, swimming under the Olympic Cut for the 2008 U.S. trials.
