Jesse Holley helps Cowboys to overtime victory

Monday, September 19, 2011

In early 2009, Jesse Holley was out of work looking for a shot at an NFL roster. He found it via a reality show hosted by Michael Irvin. Holley outlasted 11 other competitors to win an invite to the team's training camp, played well enough to earn a spot on the practice squad, was called up to the main roster in the middle of last season and then on Sunday caught his first NFL pass and later hauled in a Tony Romo pass in overtime and went 77 yards to set up a game-winning field goal.
