Hard work, humility pay off for John Ferranto
Posted Sep 8, 2011
When John Ferranto showed up to Burlington Township High School in the fall of 2008, he was a 6-foot-5, 170-pound freshman. As he approaches his senior football season, Ferranto is still 6-5, but he’s filled out his frame and weighs about 275 pounds. Yes, Ferranto has come a long way from his days as a freshman and the weight is the least of it. Ferranto, who will be an offensive lineman for the first time this season, will be heading to the University of North Carolina on a full football scholarship next fall.
