Tar Heel Baseball holds first Fall scrimmage

A day after Chapel Hill was racked by torrential rain and two tornado warnings, the 2012 Carolina baseball team took the field at Boshamer Stadium for their first scrimmage of the fall. Outstanding work by the grounds crew had the field in excellent playing condition. The six-inning scrimmage started at 2:30 p.m. and lasted for two hours. The Navy squad topped the Blue squad by a 3-2 margin (Tar Heel Blue)
