Adidas Invitational Day One Recap

Here are a few brief UNC-related recruiting notes (via Twitter) from day one of the Adidas Invitational, which runs from July 6th-9th in Indianapolis, Indiana:

- began the first day of the July evaluation period at 9:00 am by watching 2013 point guard target Bronson Koenig.

-2014 forward "has been really impressive" and is now receiving interest from UNC.

-UNC, Duke, Ohio State and other coaching staffs spent time evaluating 2013 4/5-star small forward Brannen Greene out of Forsyth, GA.

-Top 2012 center target was very impressive as usual, although his AAU coach prohibited him from doing interviews with the media. Coach Williams watched Tarczewski his entire time on the floor. Tarczewski also fouled out of one game and got a technical on his way to the bench.

-The UNC coaching staff also checked out the DC Assault squad starring 2013 point guard target . Duke and Maryland also spent time evaluating Britt.

-Coaches from UNC, Kentucky, UConn and Ohio State watched a "loaded" Florida Rams AAU team, featuring 2012 center target .

-Top-rated 2012 center Andre Drummond has been rumored to be a Connecticut lean, and he didn't do anything to dispel that rumor when he acknowledged the UConn coaches in attendance.

-And finally, never one to be out-worked on the recruiting trail, was one of the last coaches in the gym almost 15 hours after the event started.
