DE Jelani Hamilton commits to Miami

Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas defensive end Jelani Hamilton (6-foot-5, 250 pounds) committed to the University of Miami on Monday, citing his interest in the field of marine biology Miami's prowess as a leading research facility. Marine biology was just one of the things that lured Hamilton to UM. He also said he likes the city and the opportunity he thinks he has as becoming a starter with the Hurricanes. He also mentioned Miami's success in sending players to the NFL .
