UNC basketball season starting to take shape

North Carolina's schedule for the 2011-12 season began to take a clearer shape Wednesday, as the Tar Heels were officially announced as part of the field for the Las Vegas Invitational. UNC, which won the tournament in 2007, will join UNLV, South Carolina, Southern California, Morgan State, Tennessee State, Mississippi Valley State and Cal. State Poly in the tournament in November.
