“Three generations of fans have listened to him throughout the years,’’ said Woody’s son, Wes. “Not only has he done the games of the kids – but the games of their fathers. D.J. Johnston [a walk-on for the basketball team this season] played for Roy [Williams], but Donn Johnston, D.J.’s father, was on the floor when my dad first started doing games.
