Dustin Ackley is one of the top prospects in the Mariners' organization and slated to be the club's second baseman of the future. A three-year starter in the outfield at the University of North Carolina, Ackley finished his career as the top hitter in Tar Heels history with a .412 average. He also set school records for hits (346), runs (227) and total bases (544). (Seattle Times)
