North Carolina advances to a regional final for the 25th time in history and the fifth time in eight seasons under head coach Roy Williams. The Tar Heels also advanced to at least the regional finals under Williams in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009. This is UNC's fifth final eight appearance in the last seven seasons. Carolina has won nine straight NCAA Tournament games, 13 of its last 14 and 16 of its last 18.
