Too close for UNC faithful

Was Long Island University ever going to beat North Carolina Friday night in the Tar Heels' first game of this NCAA tournament? Fuhgeddaboutit. But while the second-seeded Tar Heels did win, 102-87, over 15th seed LIU Friday in Charlotte, they also threw a few scares into the North Carolina faithful. The Blackbirds helped point out some of the Tar Heels' vulnerabilities.
