UNC offers Statesville QB Carlis Parker

The North Carolina Tar Heels extended a scholarship offer Wednesday to an underclassman from Iredell County. Statesville quarterback Carlis Parker, a sophomore, received a scholarship offer from the Tar Heels. Parker, running back Tristan Mumford, receiver Josh Gaither, Marquis Willis and head coach Randall Gusler went to Chapel Hill for the day. Gusler said the Tar Heels made the offer during the trip.
