UNC football class likely to lose one, add another
Posted Mar 10, 2011
One of the top players in UNC's 2011 football recruiting class no longer wants to play in Chapel Hill, and a former recruit could be headed back after diverting to the West Coast. Delvon Simmons, a SuperPrep All-American defensive lineman from McKeesport, Pa., wants to be released from his national letter-of-intent signed in February to attend another school. Brandon Willis, a former SuperPrep All-America from Duncan, S.C., is leaving UCLA and will likely return to UNC, where he began his college career last summer.
