UNC men's soccer coach Elmar Bolowich resigns

Elmar Bolowich, who guided the UNC men's soccer program for 22 years, has resigned to become the head coach Creighton University, the school announced Wednesday. Bolowich's official last day will be Feb. 28. The Tar Heels, who won the 2001 NCAA championship, are coming off a third straight appearance in the College Cup and have been to the NCAA Tournament for 11 of the past 12 seasons.
