North Carolina pulled in the No. 17 football recruiting class in the nation, despite negative recruiting of other schools against it. ESPN gave UNC a B grade for its recruiting class. Check out this look at the process of recruiting at North Carolina. UNC also picked up its first 2012 football prospect (outside linebacker Shakeel Rashad), writes Charlotte’s Ken Tysiac. Alex Murphy, one of the nation’s top basketball prospects, picked Duke. Murphy reminds some of Duke standout Kyle Singler.
