Sometime today, newly defeated North Carolina will likely find itself in the "Pit" -- the Smith Center practice gym stripped of rims and nets so the Tar Heels can focus on one thing: defense. But the question is, after seeing their unbeaten streak fall to Maryland on Saturday: Will the need for consistent "D" finally sink in?
