Tar Heel women finally put away Eagles

Tuesday, January 04, 2011

With just two days before ACC play tips off, UNC coach Sylvia Hatchell said the biggest challenge facing her team right now is consistency, and it never was more evident than in Monday night's game against N.C. Central. The Tar Heels found themselves leading by just nine points after a sloppy and flat first half, but played like the eighth-ranked team in the country in the second half to blow out the Eagles 97-40 at Carmichael Arena.
