In the first minute of his chat with reporters following Tuesday night’s 85-60 victory against visiting William & Mary, UNC sophomore Leslie McDonald slipped the word “defense” into his answers five times. On a night when neither team had their shooting strokes dialed in, there was no doubt what the Tar Heels were able to fall back on. “We keyed on playing the Carolina Way, and that’s defense first,” McDonald said.
