North Carolina struggled to score Friday night, committed too many turnovers, and didn’t have a leader emerge. Sound familiar? In a performance that generated flashbacks to last year’s 17-loss dysfunction – and probably should push them out of the top-10 rankings -- the eighth-ranked Tar Heels lost 72-67 to Minnesota in the semifinals of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
