Tar Heels turn back William & Mary

Sunday, October 31, 2010

The North Carolina Tar Heels awoke just in time Saturday to avoid every major college program's nightmare: losing to a Football Championship Subdivision team. After an effort that could be best described as lethargic for three quarters, the Tar Heels came charging back in the final period to turn back William & Mary, 21-17, in a non-conference battle at Kenan Stadium.
