Butch Davis has the reputation of being an even-keeled coach, one that doesn’t allow his team to get too high or too low for any one ball game. That approach did not apply at halftime on Saturday night. At halftime, Davis was irate. As well he should have been, because it looked almost certain at halftime that the Tar Heels were likely to be yet another FBS team to fall victim to an FCS opponent.
