Tar Heels haul in last-minute commitments

North Carolina coach Butch Davis said each year he and his football staff usually have a good idea of which commitments will sign and which will be last-minute decisions. This year, North Carolina had its share of the latter. In the case of halfback Christian Wilson and defensive lineman Robert Quinn, those decisions went in the Tar Heels’ favor.
