Friends rally for farmer Rob Hogan after fall; farm is home to UNC mascot
Posted Sep 26, 2010
Longtime farmer Rob Hogan remained in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit at UNC Hospitals on Friday after falling from his tractor on Sept. 15. The Hogan family has worked the farm on Old N.C. 86 just north of Carrboro since 1757. The farm is home to UNC's mascot, Rameses, who did not appear at the Sept. 17 home football game against Georgia Tech because of Hogan's accident.
