A gut-wrenching 30-24 loss to LSU on Saturday night in the Georgia Dome capped one of the most uncomfortable preseasons in the program’s history. Conventional wisdom might dictate that the Tar Heels would enjoy easing into this week’s bye and assuming a bit of a lower profile.
