Georgia Tech lands commitment from LB Tremayne McNair

Tremayne McNair, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker from Jacksonville, N.C., has committed to Georgia Tech, two fan websites are reporting. McNair became the Yellow Jackets’ 12th commitment of the 2011 class, according to GoJackets.com and JacketsOnline.com. According to GoJackets.com, McNair had offers from at least a dozen schools. But he says chose the Jackets over North Carolina and South Carolina after talking his situation over with his family Sunday night.
