Giants WR Hakeem Nicks to undergo MRI on right knee
Posted Aug 4, 2010
Hakeem Nicks went down with a right knee injury at the end of Tuesday's practice and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity. Nicks was able to stand up, but needed a cart to get to the locker room. The Giants are calling it a "hyperextended knee" for now, though tests could always reveal more damage. Prior the injury, Nicks had pulled out in front of Mario Manningham in the two's battle to start opposite Steve Smith.
