Quinn Cook the best player at Desert Duel
Posted Jul 30, 2010
The best player in the Desert Duel was DC Assault’s Quinn Cook. Quinn had a pretty inconsistent tournament but late in games he was clutch. He was playing great defense and had some big shots late. In the quarterfinals Cook’s team was down by three with three seconds left and Quinn nailed a three pointer as the buzzer sounded, sending the game into overtime. After getting fouled, Cook went to the line and sank the free throw and his team won the game and advanced.
