North Carolina recruit P.J. Hairston's strength? Well, shoot

It is possible to mistake North Carolina recruit for a strong safety, but probably not a point guard. In a half of basketball Tuesday at the AAU Junior Boys national championship, Hairston completed exactly one pass on the offensive side of the court. He's a shooter first, a scorer second and passing ranks somewhere down the list. Hairston finished the game with 26 points. He nailed four 3-pointers in the second half, each one deeper than the last, the final one coming from 24 feet out along the right wing. (Sporting News)
