Ty Linton learned to play with enormous expectations

Even if Ty Linton didn’t warrant the kind of attention that made him one of the state’s most sought-after recruits and currently has the Arizona Diamondbacks trying to put together a salary package that could lure him from playing baseball and football at the University of North Carolina next year, his statistics still would’ve been downright scary. During the 2010 season; the Charlotte Christian outfielder batted .448 with 10 home runs and 43 RBIs.
