Tar Heels show interest in Indiana standout
Posted Jun 18, 2010
When it's all said and done maybe no player in Indiana's stellar 2012 class will be as hotly recruited as Carmel's A.J. Hammons. The 6-11 center is still developing as an offensive threat, but has the requisite skills to be a strong offensive threat. And he's already a force on the defensive end,. As for Hammons' recruitment, I spoke with one of his Spiece coaches, Jared Quarles, this week. He said North Carolina made contact with Hammons on Tuesday, the first day coaches could call the 2012 prospects.
