Marand, Tsang Advance in NCAA Women's Tennis Singles


North Carolina seniors Sanaz Marand and Katrina Tsang each posted straight-set victories in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championship Wednesday at the University of Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex. Marand topped Jennifer Widjaja of the University of the Pacific, 6-1, 6-4, while Tsang upset Michigan's Denise Muresan, 6-0, 7-6 (1). (Tar Heel Blue)
