Women's tennis team bouncing back from tourney upset

Friday, April 30, 2010

At the beginning of the season, North Carolina women's tennis coach Brian Kalbas took at look at his team's No. 18 ranking and silently disagreed. But even though the seventh-year coach thought his team much better than its ranking, he also wasn't quite expecting them to have the year they are currently having. The Tar Heels earned their first No. 1 ranking in school history at the end of February. (Durham Herald-Sun)
