Tar Heels vs. Terps For ACC Women's Lacrosse Title Sunday


UNC will try to win its second ACC women's lacrosse championship on Sunday when it faces defending ACC champ Maryland at 1 p.m. at Ludwig Field in College Park. Top-seeded Carolina advanced to Sunday's title game with a dominating, 14-4 win over No. 4 seed Duke in Friday's first semifinal. Second-seeded Maryland beat No. 3 seed Virginia, 10-6, in the second semifinal. Carolina's lone ACC title came in 2002 with a win over Maryland. (Tar Heel Blue)
