Wide receiver K.J. Brent picks Gamecocks over Tar Heels

K.J. Brent (Waxhaw, N.C./Marvin Ridge) has committed to South Carolina over North Carolina, ESPN's JC Shurburtt reports. North Carolina State, West Virginia, Kentucky, Duke, Wisconsin, Illinois, Arkansas and East Carolina also extended scholarship offers. Brent is the first Class of 2011 prep pledge for the Gamecocks.
