Austin Rivers says Florida still in contention despite recruitment reopening

Austin Rivers committed to the Florida Gators on July 3, 2008. Almost two years later, the coveted Winter Park star is no longer in coach Billy Donovan's grasp. Rivers, however, says Florida still has as strong a chance as anyone to sign the top point guard of 2011. That doesn't seem like much of a consolation prize for Gators fans hoping Rivers would take the less-dramatic recruiting route.
