Tar Heels' season ends with a loss to Dayton in the NIT final

One year ago, Marcus Ginyard was standing at half-court at Ford Field in Detroit celebrating a NCAA Tournament championship. But Thursday in Madison Square Garden, the fifth-year senior experienced a different emotion. Not only did UNC's up-and-down season end with a 79-68 loss to Dayton in the NIT title game, the Tar Heels were then forced to sit on the sidelines and watch as the Flyers accepted and hoisted their third NIT championship trophy.
