RailHawks Lose Friendly to Tar Heels in Southern Pines

In a frigid evening at Southern Pines, coach Rennie rested several starters in preparation for Saturday’s showdown against Montreal and the Tar Heels took advantage when forward Billy Schuler slotted the ball behind RailHawks keeper Nic Platter in the 15th minute. The match remained balanced until the 57th minute when Schuler was brought down in the box by Platter. Michael Farfan converted the penalty shot setting the score at 2-0.
