Kendall Marshall's clutch shots push O'Connell into WCAC semis
Posted Mar 7, 2010
Trailing by three points with less than 10 seconds left, O'Connell standout guard Kendall Marshall dribbled as fast as he could up the court then pulled up from the top of the key for a game-tying three-pointer with two seconds left. Marshall then made two free throws early in overtime and junior forward Jordan Burgess had a layup as the visiting Knights beat Good Counsel, 61-57, in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinals on Thursday night. Marshall finished with 25 points.
