Garrett Davis pitched a career-high five innings to record his first career victory over UNC Greensboro 12-2 Tuesday at Boshamer Stadium. The Tar Heels bashed 16 hits as nine different Carolina hitters hit safely in the win. No. 11 North Carolina improves to 4-0 while UNC Greensboro falls to 3-1 on the year. The Tar Heels stranded 11 base runners, but still managed to score in all but two innings. (Tar Heel Blue)
