Rally Not Enough to Overcome Poor Start
Posted Jan 17, 2010
No. 20 Georgia Tech needed a Zachery Peacock basket with 25.7 seconds left to prevent blowing a 20-point first-half lead against No. 12 North Carolina on Saturday. Will Graves’ 24 points were not quite enough to pull off the monumental rally as UNC lost, 73-71. In a game of two halves, the Yellow Jackets shot out to a 29-9 lead before taking a 42-28 lead into halftime.
