Ty Lawson’s absence strengthens Tar Heels


The sight of an injured used to be UNC’s worst fear. Sure, the team is built around bullish big man . However, a heavy premium was placed on Lawson’s health when suffered a season-ending knee injury. There wasn’t another solid ballhandler on the roster, and surely there was no one else who could get the Tar Heels’ high-scoring attack in gear like Lawson — or at least it appeared so. (Yahoo!
