Nearly everyone seems breathless over the prospect that Duke or Carolina could play the first two rounds in Raleigh and the regional rounds in Charlotte, creating a home dynamic on the road to the San Antonio Final Four. True. Another, quieter statement seems equally true: In Carolina’s four championship seasons, the Tar Heels won regionals in Philadelphia, Raleigh, New Jersey (1993) and Syracuse. That’s why Roy Williams flushes every question about the alleged Raleigh-Charlotte prize.
