Danielle Butts to play basketball for Tar Heels


South Central girls' basketball coach Mary Bryan Carlyle claims that Danielle Butts bleeds Carolina blue. In a couple of years, she will wearing it and bleeding it. Butts, who grew up a UNC fan and said she dreamed of playing for the Tar Heels ever since she learned how to play basketball, verbally committed to the Tar Heels this week. The junior, who already holds numerous scoring records at South Central and recently eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career, attended North Carolina's victory over Charleston Southern on Sunday.
