Tar Heel Golf Team Finishes 12th At General Hackler Championship

The UNC men's golf team carded a 923 total and finished in 12th place of the General Hackler Championship played at the TPC of Myrtle Beach. The Tar Heels posted a 307 total in the final round. Freshman Kevin O'Connell, from Cary, N.C., led the Tar Heels with a 229 total and a tie for 27th place after firing a three-over-par 75 in the final round.
