Anson Dorrance elected to National Soccer Hall of Fame

Joining Hugo Perez in the National Soccer Hall of Fame will be Anson Dorrance, who coached the U.S. to its first world championship at the Women's World Cup in China in 1991, and who also has coached the North Carolina women's team to an unprecedented 19 NCAA titles. Dorrance, 56, whose Tar Heels teams have a combined 648-32-19 record, was elected as one of the sport's builders.
